Our Twinkly Toes classes are designed to introduce pre-school age children to the dance world. It also helps enhance their gross motor development, listening skills, musicality, and nurtures their creative spirits. This 45-minute class allows the children to enter the dance classroom setting by themselves for the first time. Their independence can be reached in a safe and nurturing environment all while learning coordination and social awareness. The dance styles that are introduced in this class are ballet and tap.
Dancers should wear leotard and tights (any style or color), pink ballet shoes and tan tap shoes.
Our Happy Feet class consists of a three dance style combination class consisting of Ballet, Jazz, and Baton. Dancers will learn foundational technique and steps while also learning dance vocabulary and proper dance etiquette. Learning these particular styles allows younger dancers to grasp what they may want to focus on in the future.
Dancers should wear leotard and tights (any style or color), pink ballet shoes, tan jazz shoes, tan tap shoes.
We offer two different combo classes for our 7 and 8-year-old dancers. One combines Ballet and Hip-Hop while the other combines Tap and Jazz.
Dancers should wear leotard and tights (any style or color), pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes, jazz shorts or pants, tan jazz shoes and smooth-soled tennis shoes for Hip-Hop.
Baton students learn basic twirl skills including proper form and hand placement and baton terminology while developing hand-eye coordination and wrist flexibility. Students also learn twirl combinations and parade routines.
*Intermediate Baton is for ages 13+ and twirls 2 batons.
Dancers wear a leotard or fitted dance top, jazz pants or fitted dance shorts, and tan jazz shoes.
* * For those registered for combo classes that include baton or older dancers taking baton, dancers will be measured for their baton during their first class day. Ignite will then place orders and students will receive their batons during the 3rd class week. Baton prices are $35.00 plus tax and will be added to your September tuition.
This is a class for children of ages 9 and up who want to focus on ballet. We start with the foundational elements of ballet and barre work. Dancers will also be learning dance vocabulary and proper dance etiquette in the studio.
Ladies should wear solid-color leotard and pink tights (skirts and dance shorts are optional), pink split-sole ballet shoes.
Men should wear ballet tights or compression pants with men's fitted dance tops or sleeveless compression shirts, black ballet shoes.
Lyrical/contemporary dance is a beautiful, expressive, fluid form of dance implementing ballet, modern and jazz techniques to express lyrics of songs; the movements are flowing, graceful, emotional and inspirational. This class develops strength, flexibility and endurance.
*One year Ballet prerequisite plus current Ballet enrollment.
Dancers should wear any color leotard or tight fitted top, jazz pants, dance shorts, or leggings and lyrical paws.
This class is filled with upbeat music and lots of energy. The focus here is on technique, conditioning, musicality and flexibility.

Dancers should wear a leotard or fitted dance top, jazz pants or fitted dance shorts, tan or black tights, tan jazz shoes.
Musical Theatre is a fun dance class teaching your dancer many different styles of Broadway Dance. This theatrical class will also improve your dancers stage presence and learn how to dance with fun props in choreography.
This energetic dance style is a form of street dancing that combines a wide range of intense body movements, body isolations and freestyle.
*Intermediate Hip-Hop is for ages 13+
*One year Ballet prerequisite plus current Ballet enrollment.
Dancers should wear a fitted dance top, long pants, and clean smooth-soled tennis shoes.
Tap is an upbeat dance style that focuses on rhythm and timing along with proper technique. Students begin with the most basic footwork and progress to more advanced tap steps.
Dancers should wear a leotard or fitted dance top, jazz pants or fitted dance shorts, tan or black tights and black tap shoes.
All students should have a dance bag for their belongings and names should be written on EVERYTHING. Hair should always be worn up and out of the face.
Please know the required shoes are important throughout the dance year. This assists the dancers in knowing how to move in them and assists in proper training. The importance of tights is to keep their legs warm, which helps protect from pulled muscles during class. Lastly, when it comes time for the recital, everyone is required to be dressed in equal uniform.
